BT Super for Life - Savings account
This account may be suitable for you if you want a superannuation account for any of the following purposes:
If you are working:
- To accept super contributions made by your employer
- To accept personal contributions
- If you are self-employed, to accept super contributions for which you may possibly claim a tax deduction
- To consolidate your other super accounts
If you are retired:
- To leave your money in a tax-effective environment from which you do not wish to regularly withdraw
BT Super for Life - Retirement account
This account may be suitable for you if:
- You want to start withdrawing money from your superannuation and at least one of the following applies to you:
- You are 65 years old or older, or
- You are 60 years old or older and have left an employment arrangement since turning 60. You may have already started working for another employer or plan to do so in the future, or
- You are 55 years old or older, and you do not intend to work more than 10 hours a week in the future, or
- Regardless of age, your superannuation is unrestricted non-preserved
If you are an existing Westpac customer with access to Westpac Online (internet banking) you can apply online.

BT Super for Life - Transition to Retirement account
This account may be suitable for you if:
- You want to start withdrawing money from your superannuation
- You are between 55 and 65 years old, and
- You have not retired
If you are an existing Westpac customer with access to Westpac Online (internet banking) you can apply online.
